Engineering Research And Development (R&D)

The aim of JPJI research and development (R&D) is to develop the new technologies to the world market and strengthen the world engineering industry.

A healthy and effective research and development (R&D) in engineering will guarantee that we are able to develop a strong, diversified, sustainable products or smart engineering solutions to the world market, that will effectively be helpful to human beings living in the country.

JPJI research and development (R&D) department is involved in the engineering design and development of various vertical domains of Automobiles, Aerospace, Consumer electronics, Machinery, Semiconductor, Telecom, Construction, Industrial automation, Medical devices, MEP Equipment’s such as HVAC units, Pumps, Switchgears, Transformers.

JPJI research and development (R&D) department is working on many different projects across a variety of sectors and spotting the similarities can often lead to invention. Most our engineers and scientists will work in on R&D facilities to develop new technologies.

JPJI- Research Foundation – Research and Development (R&D) department is the backbone of innovation. It supports the development of new products and engineering services, which have the potential to touch all aspects of modern life.

Skill Development
  1. To engage with skill development projects/ programmes across the country, training of skilled manpower, building the vocational and technical training skill up-gradation, building of new skills, and innovative thinking and also jobs to be created in collaborations with relevant Central Ministries, State governments, international organizations, industry and NGOs.

  2. To conduct study on various related social activities, carry out research; publish newsletters, magazines, and any other publishing materials relevant to the activities.

  3. To engage and promote Research Development such as Scientific and Industrial Research including Technical and Engineering Research through various modes.

  4. To promote and facilitate technical education, education consultancy, education certification, conducting courses, professional memberships (Equivalent to B-Tech & B.E.) through offline and online modes.

  5. To promote commerce, arts, science, sports education, research, social welfare and charity in India and abroad through various modes.

  6. To promote commerce, art, science, sports, education, research, social welfare, religion, charity, protection of environment or any such other objectives through various modes.

  7. To become a member of any association of any of the councils as may be required for skill development in the Sector or any sector skill councils as and when formed by concerned authorities and adhere to the charter of such councils.

  8. To facilitate and assist the Appropriate Governmental Authority and concerned authorities in strengthening the existing vocational education system for skill development in the Sector and to collaborate in upgrading vocational training system in the sector, in line with requirements to achieve global standard in skilled manpower productivity.

  9. To employ/engage/ take on deputation professionals, skilled workers, technical advisors, global consultants, sector associates, and managers from national or international organizations including appropriate Governmental Authority to provide valuable inputs for establishment, development and operation of new Sector skill centers, their governance, accreditation, inter-center linkages and to pay them such remuneration as may be considered expedient and commensurate with the sector norms.

  10. 10. To liaise and collaborate with various associations in the Sector or otherwise by suitable means (memorandum of understanding, collaboration agreements, partnering arrangements and others) for course content development, arrangement of apprenticeships within the Sector.

  11. 11. To receive any sum or sums of money as gift or donations in cash or kind or subscriptions given to or acquired by any other means by in order to spend on fulfillment of all or any of the above objects of the company.

Women and Children Empowerment
  1. To engage in Women and children empowerment activities like Provide education information, counseling, orientation, education, training, skill acquisition etc.

  2. To organize and broadcast programs, events, exhibitions, seminars and symposiums which include the action of raising the status of women through education, raising awareness, literacy, and training.

  3. To engage in establishing mechanisms for women’s equal participation and equitable representation at all levels of the political process and public life in each community and society and enabling women to articulate their concerns and needs; To create awareness in the ability to do something about needs, wants, opinions, beliefs and feelings.

  4. To engage in promoting the fulfillment of women’s potential through education, skill development and employment, giving paramount importance to the elimination of poverty, illiteracy and ill health among women.

  5. To improve the standard of living of rural women through training community development programmes and self-employment projects to conduct programs to enable people to be self-reliant and enjoy a healthy, dignified and sustainable quality of life.

  6. To provide recreational facilities and activities in the interests of social welfare with the objective of providing the conditions of life for those persons in need of such facilities.

  7. To identify and work alongside the economically and socially deprived, the physically and mentally challenged – starting with children, so that they become educated, skilled and aware.

  8. To engage in Political Cultural Economic and Societal Empowerment by creating Awareness campaigns programs through media and mass communication.

  9. To engage in publications, newsletters and producing events, television/radio Programs to create human development and empowerment.

  10. To associate with national and international organizations, concerned government departments for organizing and training human empowerment and development programs.

  11. To develop a capability for sustainable human and natural resource development through education, agricultural development, healthcare, economic development, art, literature and cultural exchange.

  12. To work closely with local institutions, such as schools, universities, health facilities cooperatives, municipalities, grass roots committees, and charitable associations, and assist them in improving the community services they provide towards healthcare clean water, shelter repair, legal aid, trauma counseling, microcredit, community development services and repatriation assistance.

  13. Plan Design Implement & Run the Rehabilitation Centers for the Handicapped, Mentally Retarded, Orphans, Refuges and Neglected Senior Citizens and encourage & empower them to stop into the main Stream of Life.

  14. Design, Plan and Implement participatory programs to uplift the Women, Children, Elderly Citizen and Youth.

  15. To receive any sum or sums of money as gift or donations in cash or kind or subscriptions given to or acquired by any other means by in order to spend on fulfillment of all or above objects of the company.

Public Charity and Social Services
  1. Make donations, grant endowments and or otherwise assist in any form whatsoever to any person(s), organizations, public charitable institutions, companies, societies, trusts, foundations, academic and or cultural institutions who have object(s) similar to anyone or more of the objects of the Company for the purpose of promoting, assisting and or encouraging the carrying and or achievement of such objects or object for the benefit of the people in general.

  2. Establish branches and offices across different parts of India.

  3. Take on lease or on leave and license or otherwise acquire or obtain possession of property from any person, Company, Society, Foundation, Trust, Organization and or Institution as may be deemed fit in the furtherance or advancement of anyone or more of its objects.

  4. Provide, endow, furnish and or fit out any of its property with all necessary furniture, Instruments and other equipment and maintain and or manage offices, premises center, institutions and other establishments or institutions for the furtherance and or advancement of anyone or more of the objects of the Company.

  5. Borrow or raise money on such terms and on such security, if any, as may be thought fit.

  6. Acquire, buy, sell, market, distribute, exchange and or otherwise dispose of, store, hold, package, transport, use experiment, with handle, in educational equipment in order to achieve the objects of the Company.

  7. Purchase, take on lease or in exchange, hire or otherwise acquire any immovable or moveable property and any rights or privileges for the attainment of the Company’s objects.

  8. Construct, maintain and alter any house or building or erection and to provide the same with all proper and necessary fixtures, furniture, fittings, apparatus, appliances, conveniences and accommodations for the purposes of the activities of the Company.

  9. Subject to the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 to lend and deposit money or give credit either in connection with the main object of the Company with or without security, to such persons, firms, concerns and or Companies and on such terms as may deemed expedient.

  10. Subject to applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and the rules made there under to borrow or raise or secure the payment of money or to receive money or deposit at interest or otherwise, and at such time or times as the Company may deem fit by promissory notes or by taking credits in or opening current, loans or over draft accounts with any bank, company, firm or person and whether with or without any security or by such other means.

  11. Raise necessary funds and accept donations, contributions (in cash or kind) subscriptions, grants of money, securities, and property of any kind and or to undertake and accept the management of transfership of any endowment, trust fund or donation not inconsistent with the objects of the Company.

  12. Accept donations, assistance and or funds on behalf of the Implementing Agencies from the Government, foreign donors, and or any other donor agency subject to such laws as may be applicable in the manner stated above and to obtain necessary accounts and information regarding the physical and financial progress from the Implementing Agency / Agencies.

  13. Establish a Fund I Funds for carrying out anyone or more the objectives of the Company as may be thought fit. Create any Depreciation Fund, Reserve Fund, Insurance Fund or any other Special Fund, whether for depreciation or for repairing, improving, extending or maintaining any of the immovable or moveable property of the Company, or for any other purpose conducive to and in the interests of the Company.

  14. Open and operate a banking account or banking accounts and to draw, make, accept, endorse, discount, execute and issue promissory notes, bills of exchange, bills of lading, warrants, drafts, cheques, bonds, debentures and other negotiable or transferable instruments.

  15. Invest the funds of the Company not immediately required in trust securities or such other investments as the Company in General Meeting may allow or think fit. Also to invest and deal with moneys of the Company not immediately required in any manner.

  16. Enter into any agreement with any Government or authorities (municipal, local or otherwise) or any corporations, companies, or persons, or any cooperative society or organization or institutions in any part of the world which may seem conducive to the Company’s objects or any of them.

  17. To obtain from any such Government authority, corporation, company or person any contracts, rights, moneys, privileges, licenses and concessions which may be thought by and or on behalf of the Company desirable to obtain and to carryout, exercise and comply therewith.

  18. Apply for secure, acquire by grant, legislative enactment, assignment, transfer purchase or otherwise and to exercise, carryout and enjoy and charter, license, power, authority, franchise, concession, right, or privilege, which any Government or authority, supreme, municipal, local or otherwise in any corporation or other public body may be empowered to grant, and to pay for, aid in and contribute towards carrying the same into effect, and to issue and or appropriate any debentures or other securities and assets to defray the necessary costs, charges and expenses thereof.

  19. Appeal, solicit, receive or accept from any government or non-governmental institutions, agencies, authorities, public bodies, corporations, trusts, foundations, companies or person(s) and or money, movable or immovable properties, donations, gifts, subscriptions, devices, bequests, and or other assistance with a view to promoting the objects of the company and in receiving any gift of property to take the same either unconditionally or subject to any special conditions which may prescribed by the donor in writing.

  20. Apply the whole or any part of the income of the Company, or the Company’s fund or accumulations thereto, to any one or more of the objects of the Company, as the Board of Directors may, in their discretion, deem fit from time to time.

  21. Make advances upon or for the purchase of land, buildings, houses, offices, flats, tenements, shops, other buildings and or construction thereof; or for materials, goods, furniture, equipment, appliances and stores required for the Company’s activities.

  22. Incur debts and obligations for the conduct of any business of the Company and to purchase or hire goods, materials, equipment or machineries on credit or otherwise for the business or purpose of this Company.

  23. Promote and or become a member of any Company or Companies, (whether limited by shares or guarantee or both) body or association (whether corporate or not) for the purpose of acquiring all or any of the property rights and liabilities of the Company, and or for the furtherance of the objects or any of them in this company.

  24. Enter into partnerships or any arrangement, for union of interest, cooperation, reciprocal concession or otherwise with any person or Company carrying on or engaged in or about to carry on or engage in any activities or transaction which the Company is authorized to carry on or engage in or any activities or transaction capable of being conducted.

  25. Obtain any provisional rule, order stature or other legislative provision or enactment for enabling the Company to carry any of its objects into effect or for effecting any modification of the constitution of the Company or for any other purpose which may see expedient and to oppose any proceedings or applications which may seem calculated directly or indirectly to prejudice the Company’s interest.

  26. Take part information, management, subsiding supervision or control of the business or operations of any person(s), associations, company or undertaking and for that purpose to act as trustees, administrators, secretaries or in any other capacity or to appoint and administrators, managers or accounts or other experts or agent.

  27. Improve, manage, work, develop, alter, exchange, lease, mortgage, turn to account, abandon, or otherwise deal with all or any part of the property, rights and concessions of the Company, and to manufacture any articles or render any services with utilization of machineries, equipment and assets belonging to the Company.

  28. Mortgage, pledge or charge the whole or any part of the property, assets or revenues and profits of the company present or future including its uncalled capital by special assignment or to transfer or convey the same absolutely or in trust and to give the lenders powers of sale and other powers as may seem expedient and to purchase, Redeem or pay off any such securities.

  29. Remunerate any person, not being member, or company for services rendered in placing of assisting the company or about the in or formulations or promotion of the company for the conduct of its business.

  30. Retain or employ skilled professionals or technical advisors in connection with the objectives of the Company and to pay professional fees or remuneration as may be thought fit.

  31. Appoint legal advisors (not being members), and to appoint the banker or bankers for the company and to pay the necessary expenses for the same.

  32. Draw, make accept, endorse, discount, execute and issue cheques, promissory notes, hundies, bills of lading, railway receipt and other negotiable and instruments of all description in connection with the Company’s business.

  33. Sell or to dispose of the undertaking of the Company or any part thereof for such consideration as the Company may think fit and in particular for shares, debentures or other securities or any other securities of any other company having objects altogether or in part similar to those of this company.

  34. Pay all costs, charges, expenses incurred in connection with incorporation of the Company including preliminary expenses of any kind and incidental to the formation of the Company, costs, charges and expenses of negotiating contracts and arrangements made prior to and in anticipation of the formation and incorporation of the Company.

  35. And to do any other acts, deeds and lawful things as may be necessary and conducive for the attainment of its main and ancillary objects.

  36. Provided that the company shall not support with its funds, or endeavor, to impose on, or procure to be observed by, its members or others, any regulation or restriction which, if an object of the company, would make it a trade union.
